"The Dancin' Bulldogs" is a 2020 documentary film about the Gardner-Webb University men's basketball team and their first trip to the NCAA Tournament. The film featured never-before-seen footage and exclusive interviews. While the film was produced along with several of my colleagues, I served as the director, editor, and music composer for the film.
The documentary received praise from critics and audiences alike, particularly within the Gardner-Webb community. One critic praised the film's "precise editing and clear...narrative," saying, "The Dancin’ Bulldogs pieces all of those sources together in a meaningful, cohesive way that is exciting to watch and easy to follow. Jessup’s uplifting score...also rounds out the documentary’s clear narrative." |
I directed, edited, and wrote music for these advertisements for Worcester State University.
We decided to focus the shots on two themes: people and actions. "People" are shown through close-ups of students, while actions are shown through various activities those students would take on campus. |

I directed, edited, and wrote music for these advertisements for the University of California System to promote their education abroad program.
One ad focuses on showing a variety of locations, while the other focuses on one location and its opportunities. |

I shot, directed, edited, and wrote music for The Brown Wedding. The ceremony itself was only live-streamed (so little footage is shown), but I captured and edited videos of the venue and reception.
For The Jessup Wedding , someone else shot the video and gave me the footage to edit and write music. |
